We can see the room even before it has been created. This is also the reason we emphasize the relationship between the client and the interior designer. As we get to know our clients, listen to their needs, and picture the function and beauty of the space can we transform their vision into reality. Ideas need to be guided. As one begins this journey it an experience for both the client and the designer. Impact Design was founded by Georgia M. Loukas. Georgia is recognized for her attention to detail and her commitment to the client's needs. Before opening her own design firm, she works for a distinguished residential and commercial based design firm here in Chicago. She is a graduate from the Illinois Institute of Art with a degree in Interior Design.

Georgia Loukas believes that each home should reflect the personality of its inhabitants; not the personality of the designer. The interior designer is there to guide each individual into creating the home that they want to live in. This journey begins with asking each client:

It is the question that lies at the very heart of what we do. At Impact Design we have asked it of everyone we have worked with and each time we have a different answer. This is because everyone's idea of how a home feels is different. With this knowledge an interior designer will begin to deconstruct in order to reconstruct. We will base our design on simple principles that are truly universal and then move to the next level as we explore imaginative and cutting edge applications of elements and materials.
